SYNOPSIS
There is a suitor for a little Afghan girl called Nazpari from Germany. Up to that point, no one has seen him. When the day comes, Nazpari understands that the suitor is an older adult. She has to make a life-changing decision.

DIRECTOR STATEMENT
The short film “Nazpari” depicts the detrimental effects of traditional and religious parental influence on children’s futures. Nazpari is compelled to conform to her parents’ expectations in all aspects of her life. As a teenage girl, she is denied the right to object to the forced child marriage imposed upon her. In this challenging situation, Nazpari must make a difficult decision to pursue the life path she desires, despite the vulnerability it entails.
